LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Sinclair Oil executives realize that to recruit and retain talented people, leaders need additional opportunities for education and growth. For that purpose, Sinclair is developing leadership and communication courses for every organizational level and in all locations within the company. This leadership learning initiative continues with Course 2, the Manager Toolkit, which is a complete series for front-line managers that includes eight new detailed learning modules.
Sinclair Leadership Development has also launched a new Learning Management System (LMS) which offers comprehensive eLearning modules and follow-up assignments for class participants. Upon completion of these modules, certificates will be awarded to managers, who will then be encouraged to share their new leadership knowledge and skills with team members. The result will be a positive change in the workplace and measurable performance improvement throughout the company.
ENROLLMENT AND PARTICIPATION
Company officers and vice presidents will select managers throughout the company to enroll in the Manager Toolkit, and invitees can register through a link on the following site: sinclairleadershipdevelopment.com. As with the previous Supervisor Toolkit course, class instructors will distribute participant guidebooks and other resources. Through hands-on exercises and dynamic discussions, students will experiment with management theories and leadership best practices. To master challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities at Sinclair, students must also complete additional eLearning coursework and follow-up assignments. After completing all coursework, participants will be awarded the Manager Toolkit Certification.
